Through coursework and community, the Studio Art program is designed to strengthen the connection between the basic foundation of technical proficiency and the ability to verbalize one's intent in creative work. The department strives to prepare the Hanover student for graduate school or professional careers connected to the Arts. Recent alumni who majored in Art have continued in graduate programs such as Architecture, Art Education, Set Design, Film and Studio Art.
