The Art & Art History Dept Travels

 

The Art and Art History Department's travels include fieldtrips, junior/senior class trips, and study abroad Spring term courses.

Fieldtrips that parallel courses and provide opportunities to connect studies and viewing Art are taken to Louisville, Cincinnati, Columbus and Indianapolis.

The Art and Art History Faculty selects a city that is significant artistically and architecturally as well as parallels particular interests of the current majors. With the junior and senior major, the Art and Art History faculty have traveled to:

2006 Washington, DC
2007 Kansas City, MO

Spring term, also called May term, is devoted to a month of concentrated study on campus, participation in interships, or off-campus programs including travel to foreign countries. Abroad opportunities during Sping term have recently included courses held in Florence, Italy and Paris, France With Hanover College's 4-4-1 calendar, students take four classes each fall and winter term.
