Growing up and living in the American Midwest, specifically in areas that often felt in-between other places, the landscape and pace of rural communities influenced my aesthetics. In my sculptural work, questions about happiness and perspective materialize in objects such as soap or bus stops and in activities such as playing board games and mowing grass.
